Q: How does Pay As You Go work?

The Pay As You Go membership is £19 + VAT per month , which includes one full day of coworking each month. After you’ve used your included day, any additional workspace time is charged at £4 per hour , with a maximum of £20 per day , so you’ll never pay more than that for a full day’s use.

Q: Can I just turn up and use the space?

Yes, members only. You are completely welcome to drop in and use the shared spaces during our opening hours. If you are not using a pre-booked desk, you will only be charged once you connect to the Salt Yard Wi-Fi.

Q: Can I use the showers and changing room?

Yes, every member can pop in to change or shower without booking a desk or being charged to work.

Q: Is parking available?

Pre-booked parking only. The car park is small and it is essential you do not park without booking. We have four on-site spaces available to book for £5 per day.

Q: Can I book meeting rooms and phone pods?

Yes, all members can book single meeting rooms through the website or app. The smaller meeting room is included at no extra charge, while the large meeting room is charged separately.

Q: When is Salt Yard open?

We will be open early August. Members will be able to book from August 3rd.

Q: Is there a long contract?

No, memberships renew monthly and you can cancel before your next renewal.

MOVE YOUR TEAM FOR THE DAY. WORK AWAY DAY

Take the team out of the usual office and make a proper day of it. Salt Yard’s Work Away Day is a full-day package built around private use of our large meeting room, giving you space to plan, present, workshop or reset in a calmer coastal setting. Food is arranged in advance from a pre-booked menu with a local café or restaurant and a taxi is included from Folkestone train stations.

Salt Yard is available for private evening hire, giving you use of the entire building, including the upstairs space. Ideal for presentations, talks, workshops, client sessions, team meetings or anything that needs desks, seating and a screen in a calm, coastal setting. Evening hire is available from 6pm to 8pm, six days a week.
